Hair: Often dyes it purple but it is black naturally. When purple she uses blue highlights when black she uses a multitude of colors for highlights
Facial Features: Light freckles and a marking from her mother on her left ear. The marking is her way to remember her mother
Misc. Info
- Her name is Maria but after entering and becoming more acquainted with Eorzea she adapted an alias if she needs it. She chose Aria Twilight. She does not go by said name but largely chose to develop a fitting name to show her appreciation for her new home but to also avoid weird questions about her unusual name.
- Inverse is not her by birth last name but she uses it to explain her origins of coming from the mirror world of Norvrandt.
- She still doesn't understand how she ended up in Eorzea
- She was trained in various weapon styles as she grew older choosing the Chakrams for long range engagements and the spear for when she is close. She also Learned how to use a Scythe on her own.

Background - Maria's Origin
Maria is a very unique Viis, she hailed from the first(Norvrandt). She was raised in Fanow within the Great woods. She spent her youth running around and playing in the woods when she wasn't helping her mother. As she grew older her mother taught her how to cook and to use a needle and thread. These skills where in case Maria needed to fend for herself in times of her mother's passing. When Maria turned 18 she decided it fitting to join the Crystarium's guard. Thus leaving Fanow banished and unable to return.
It was here Maria learned how to use many weapons choosing the chakrams as her weapon learning the way of the dancer, as she wanted to both express herself in battle and on the stage (Although she has massive stage fright). It was something she loved for a time, until she learned of the awful fate that befell the land of Norvrandt and why in her years of life she had never seen the moon. Sadly during these years Maria's mother passed away and Maria now with no family left still dreams of the night sky. During her lonely nights she chose to return home to leave an offering to her mother. The scouts of Fanow delivered her offering as she was not supposed to return. Upon arriving home she found that her mother did not pass on but instead was corrupted and became a sin eater. To defend Fanow and put her mother to rest Maria did what she knew she must. Tears flooding her view Maria found her once mother and with a heavy heart released her from her awful fate making her move on to a better place.
Whilst patrolling Lakeland she spotted an odd sighting, a brown haired mystel in the clearing lying still. Maria then rushed over to ensure they were alive, hearing the faint beat of her heart through her bloodstained armor, Maria then took her to the Crystarium Infirmary and awaited her results. She waited by her bed to make sure that the mystery mystel was healthy and eager to find out about who she saved.
While waiting she had met the mystels beloved, a tall dark haired viis. Through conversation with this viis Maria learned both the name of the mystel and the name of her home. The mystel was revealed to be named Javairea and the viis Velvet. The two of them natives of Eorzea a land Maria had never known about. Maria grew attached to Javairea and Velvet as they spent time together eventually deeming them as her adoptive parents. When time came for Javairea and Velvet to return back to Eorzea she wasn't sure how she would do it but she was determined to follow. The Crystal Exarch revealed the magic to which she could cross realms.
It was then she made the choice to leave her once beloved home behind in search of a new adventure with a new family. She took the risk and commenced with the Exarchs spell fainting in the process. When she awoke she was in an unknown land. But to Javairea and Velvet standing close by, they then welcomed her to Eorzea. It was not long after she met her now sisters I'delia Tohka and Xion Tohka. She bonded with them fast and often refers to them for help about the new land. Maria to this day is still overwhelmed and lost in the new land learning the native tongue and culture by adventuring her new home Eorzea.
Relationships
I'delia Tohka
One of Marias new Eorzea sisters. Maria and I'delia grew fond of one another and bonded quite quickly after they met. The two often chat together and try to adventure together when they can. Maria learned her bardic skills from I'delia as well, making the two even closer. Some would struggle to believe they are not real sisters.
Xion Tohka
Maria's second Eorzea sister. Xion surprised Maria when they first met, not knowing the past of Eorzea. Since them meeting the two bond by adventuring at times but mostly through conversation, Maria is fascinated by the technology of Eorzea and due to Xion's shared interest they get along quite well.
Javairea Sabah
Maria's mother figure. Whilst Javairea is not her mother, Maria sees her as one. She felt like Javairea taught her how the world of Eorzea functions and works. Teaching her various skills and telling her many stories, it made Maria miss her own mother and this feeling made Maria deem Javairea her mother. Maria truly looks up to Javairea and often does her best with her sisters to make her new mother smile.
